Planting and Watering the Gospel of Christ
Who are we?
The church of Christ at Avalon is a congregation of God’s people in Milton, Florida that seeks to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As citizens of Christ’s kingdom, we aim to expand its spiritual borders by planting and watering the Gospel, which is the Seed of the Kingdom (cf. Col. 1:13; Matt. 28:18-20; Luke 8:4-15). We love studying God’s Word together and we would love to search the Scriptures with you!
What to expect
We gather together every Sunday morning at 9:30 am to worship God. Our primary aim in worship is to honor and please Him. Because of this, our worship services consist of the acts that God prescribes in His Word: singing (Eph. 5:19; Col. 3:16), praying (1 Thes. 5:17-19), partaking of the Lord’s Supper (Matt. 26:26-29), preaching (Acts 20:7), and giving (1 Cor. 16:2).
Following worship, we divide into Bible classes that are designed to provide children and adults with a thorough and practical understanding of God’s Word. We also engage in Bible classes each Wednesday night at 6:00.
